my favourite makeup brand in the whole wide world:: BOBBI BROWN. i was first introduced to this makeup beauty brand mid-flight from Australia to Dubai and have been hooked ever since.
this brand is soooo good and fantastic quality. it focuses on rather more natural colours compared to most makeup brands. which i think is good for hijabies because if we are going to wear makeup i think we should look as natural as possible. it can be a bit pricey but as i said before it is pure quality.. AND more importantly they do not test on animals which is a very important issue which is close to my heart and always in my mind when i buy cosmetics. i even make sure my shampoo and conditioner is cruelty free (i buy AVON).
anyways i bought the following pack of 10 bobbi brown brushes.. they came in a super cute size and the brushes are sooooo good. they are made from real horse hair as opposed to nylon or hard plastic bristles that you find most brands use. they are super soft and i recommend them to everyone.

If you are like me and only choose anti animal testing / cruelty free products then check out this list from PETA: http://www.peta2.com/STUFF/s-cf1.asp it lists all the major cosmetic brands that are cruelty free...
if you are in Australia may i suggest buying INNOXA and AUSTRALIS. both great cruelty free Australian makeup brands. AVON is also good as they also sell products like body wash, shampoo and conditioner, etc.
