These dolls have heads, forearms, and lower legs made from ceramic. I bought the doll pieces in green ware and finished them. They were fired three times. The third time for the china painted faces. The bodies are made from cloth and stuffed with sawdust. (An idea my mother thought of. It works great!)
I made the dresses from material that my mother used to make Christmas dress for my daughters when they were youngsters. The dolls are sitting on plastic canvas chairs that are larger than the Barbie size chairs showed in another post. Same general pattern.
