Watching it all unravel with a half-gallon on my desk.

Greetings fellow humans. As this is our first meeting here I suppose I should introduce myself.

I live somewhere in the lovely state of Idaho. I am a business man, a father and a cynic of sorts.

I hold a few simple beliefs and they are listed here below.

1. Your face is stupid
2. In the next 20 years the shit is going to hit the fan
3. If you knew what I know you would drink more than I do
4. Since we're all fucked.... we might as well enjoy the ride

What follows will be my commentary from time to time as I have the unique talent to seek out important, funny, mind-bending, or just plain scary information. This is the kind of stuff I wish someone else would post and save me the time, so I'm posting it here in case there's anyone else out there like me (poor you if there is).

Today as I sat at my desk delegating all the "work" to my employees I watched an interesting video sequence. It was several hours long; so to save you the time I will post a small summary.

It was called "The Crash Course" by Chris Martenson, this guy here.











Here's what you need to know.

• Exponential growth is not intuitive to humans
• The global population is growing exponentially
• The total currency in circulation is also increasing exponentially
• We're running out of oil
• Learn to grow a garden and "Hide you kids, hide you wife" basically

All in all I think it was worth the watch. This couldn't come at a better time as global comoddity prices are surging (oil, cotton) Egyptians are rioting and the Federal Reserve is already talking about QE3, I.E. Printing even more money (sound familiar)?

The worst part of the whole thing is I missed Midget Wresting at the Grail.... Apparently they forgot to take their sign down and we were hoping to see that this weekend. Oh well, I can imagine the hilarity.
