The key to success? match it to your hijab and clothes. Just slipping a hat ontop of your head without matching it sticks out like a sore thumb. In saying that, if your outfit is red and white, your hijab is white and your hat is red - most times its gonna look pretty bad. Try to keep the hijab and the hat in the same hues so they don't clash and you don't end up walking out of the house fashionably-challenged.
