i felt sooo comfortable - didnt think i would but i did. i loved it!
But i have to admit i got sooooooo many stares. People would pick a jacket off the rack and give a quick glance, one whole group of Chinese actually stared at me openly while one pointed right in my face and said something in Chinese.. i was like 1 metre away so i thought that was very rude!
one particular women kept her head turning exorcist-style wherever i went in the Adidas Shop. i thought she was about to spew up green slime as in the movie - i was waiting for it in any case. she reminded me of the clowns below that find at fairgrounds/theme parks where the clowns heads just keep moving and you have to shoves the balls down their throat to win prizes... wow that sounds kinda sick actually...
A lot of people were looking at me like Shrek had just walked through the crowd. Most people just stared out of curiousity, while about three gave me those "i hate you, terrorist" looks... im sure if you live in the West you know what i am talking about.. lol
But all in all it was a great experience. I felt totally confident within myself for wearing it, my husband was happy about it and in a way it feels so freeing. I guess because it was my first time that i was more conscious of other people but im sure in time i will automatically block out other people's faces.
I think there will be a few more trip out in niqab.
