at the moment part of Australia is suffering. Up north in Queensland there are massive floods, in some parts 12 metres deep. The rivers have overflown so much that the crocodiles are swimming around in the streets because the place is like a massive river at the moment.

But even more devastating than that is the fact that a large part of Victoria is on fire. So far 130 deaths have been made official but they are naturally expecting that number to double. The fires are killing everything in its path - people, animals... its completely destroying entire towns and lives.

People are being killed by the fire while protecting their homes. Others are killed trying to escape. Traffic accidents are happening on the roads, trapping people, because the smoke is so thick it turns the day into night and no one can see through the black smog. Many people die in their cars, trying to escape - their bodies are not even left - just their ashes.

Families are being torn apart. Family members are missing, assumed dead. Whole towns have been turned into ash. Its the biggest and most devastating bushfire in Australian History. Police are suspecting that someone started the fire on purpose. what doesnt help are very strong winds and 40+ Celsius degree weather (104+ Fahrenheit). Also most people dont get the chance to escape because the fires come without warning and are spreading so fast. Some people dont know the fire has come until its attacking their property.

There are hundreds of people homeless, missing their relatives and pets. I cant bear to think about the poor koalas, possums, birds, etc that have been trapped and killed in the fires.. then there are the kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, sheep, dogs, cats, cows, horses...
