This rag doll is my mom's own pattern. The face features are embroidered. The hair is rooted so it will not come out. She used different colors for the hair to give each doll a different look The arms bend at the shoulder and elbow for good hugs. The legs bend in two places so she can sit. The shoes are sewn as part of the legs. Mom made the dress and the pantaloons. She used many different materials so each dress would be different. The doll is machine wash and dry on low heat. She sold a LOT of them at craft sales, and gave them as baby gifts to friends and family. This is the last one in her collection, so it is very precious to me.
