designs by Iva Lativah

Indo designer Iva Lativah drew inspiration from Indonesia's many colourful flowers for her pieces on display on the 2009 Jakarta Fashion Week runway (and it is pretty damn obvious). Her designs are very colourful, bright and appealing to the eye that appreciates beauty in its richness. I just lover the use of colour and large floral prints - hardly anyone uses floral anymore - good to see it come back.
Here are some of the designs from her aptly named "Flowering" collection on show recently:
pops of tropical colours everywhere:

soft girly pinks and greys:

deep, rich autumn colours:

bright blues and reds:

summer fruits:

garden greens:

and soft peachy and pastel like colours:

which is your fav?
