im gonna delete a lot of the really old posts about the rules of hijab for various reasons. some of these include the fact that im in a totally different place within myself and feel like the person who wrote those judgemental posts over a year ago is not the same muslim that is writing now. i also feel that in the past six months or so i have become a lot more open-minded and accepting concerning a lot of issues. another reason is that instead of me going "blah blah blah" about hijab on a ton of different posts - i have decided to make one very big and simple picture post about the rules of hijabi dressing so when newbies to hijab, converts or curious people want to find out more about what the guidelines are concerning hijab, they can go to one highlighted post and one post only that i will eventually link in the header.
this is where you come in...
i have already made most of the images but maybe there is something i have missed out. so i ask you this...
if someone approached you and asked you about the guidelines concerning hijab - what would you tell them? are there bits of dressing advice you would hand out? any common mistakes or misunderstandings you could help clear to a hijab newbie?
note - i am not going to use the term rules of hijab as many people differ on what exactly is proper hijab depending on their interpretation of quran and the sunnah. for this reason i think guidelines is a much better, all-encompassing word.
