Vera Scholz, German doll artist, gives her dolls different expressions in which you can notice a certain mood. This makes each doll special. Malena has a porcelain head, shoulders, and limbs. She has a cloth body. The doll is made to stand, and it is poseable. She is about 25 inches tall. She is in my sister's doll collection.
Malena's expression is almost like she is ready to cry. Perhaps she is expecting a reprimand, or maybe she is planning on getting even with someone for hurting her feelings. :-)
