Robayo adding that he chose so many designers to have more opportunities to showcase the creative talents in Colombia.
In 2010 another Latin language won the Miss Universe crown, and when asked if this might count against him, Robayo replied that he did not think a Latina is a weakness at all, reported the newspaper El Pais on August 11. “To be born in Latin America makes us unique and distinct from all over the world,” said Robayo.
Robayo has asked his friends to teach him some sentences in Portueguese, so that she could feel closer to the Brazilian people.
The competition to crown the most beautiful woman in the world will take place September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be broadcast in more than 100 countries.
