"I'm aware that I represent all Emarati women, all Khaleeji women and Muslim women in general. I cannot say something wrong and I cannot look wrong. It's a huge responsibility. Young people look up to you. But I also know there might be people watching and waiting for me to trip up.”

love this scarf and simple chain:
very cute:
what message does she have for young Emarati women?
"I want to tell them, be positive,” says Aida. "When you wake up in the morning, smile. It really, really makes the rest of the day. Try to be different. Don't take the same route to work every day. Try a different route. Change your perspective in life. Do it for yourself, more than for anyone else. Believe in yourself. Don't let anyone stand in your way — not even yourself. When you believe in yourself, people around you will believe in you. I never thought I'd be where I am today. I took the initiative and pushed myself hard. I want others to do it. I want them to know they too can do what I do. I want to tell them, ‘Go out there and see what's happening around you!”
